Senior Engineer Specialist - COSMOS

CACI, Inc. is accepting applications for Senior Engineer Specialists on the Contract for Organizing Spaceflight Mission Operations and Systems (COSMOS) program. COSMOS specifies technical, managerial, and administrative work needed to ensure the availability, integrity, reliability, and security of the Flight Operations Directorate's (FOD) Mission Systems supporting National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space flight programs requiring mission operations support.

Responsibilities :

• COSMOS Senior Engineer Specialists are authorities in their respective fields.
• Recognized as technical experts in specialized areas of engineering to include Aerospace Engineering, Communications Engineering, Cyber Engineering, IT Network Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Specialty Engineering, Systems Architecture, Systems Engineering, and Test Engineering.
• Accountable for the design, development, test, implementation, and analysis.
• Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and / or procedures.
• Consummate expert in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals and is responsible and accountable for the solution of complex total system problems.
• Directs, guides, and coordinates activities of teams of technical personnel performing complex engineering activities.
• Has a wide degree of autonomy, creativity, and latitude to accomplish tasks.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is : $114,600 - 252,100 USD
