Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : patients per day Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General Gastroenterology with advanced procedures (ERCP, EUS) Office Equipment Available : Fully staffed endoscopy unit Specialty Backup Available : Advanced Practitioners, hospital-based support Support Staff Available : APPs, Endoscopy staff Reason for Coverage : Supplemental Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : 30 days Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Colonoscopy Endoscopy ERCP EUS (must demonstrate experience : at least 24 procedures in past 36 months) Licenses : Active Florida medical license Certifications : Board Certified in Gastroenterology Experience : Inpatient or consultative services for at least 50 patients in the past 12 months Other Qualifications : Clean background and NPDB; meets all procedure log requirements; no telehealth Provide inpatient gastroenterology services including consults, follow-ups, and procedures Perform endoscopic procedures as required across designated facilities Collaborate with Advanced Practitioners and hospital-based support teams Maintain flexibility to work across four facilities; no mid-day travel required
