Title : General Manager

Shift : 6am-4 : 30pm

Location : North Ridgeville, OH

Salary : $100k-$120k+ (+ depending on experience)

General Manager Role :

The General Manager is responsible for directing and managing all business activities

at our clients CNC machining and manufacturing facility. This hands-on

leader will drive business growth, operational excellence, and a culture of quality and

customer focus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership, analytical,

and relationship skills, capable of motivating teams and making sound decisions in a

dynamic environment.

General Manager Responsibilities :

• Oversee and coordinate daily business operations, including production, quality assurance, engineering, and project management.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve growth objectives and maintain reputation for quality and innovation.
• Monitor and motivate employees, manage shop floor schedules, and control operational costs to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork throughout the organization.
• Hire, train, mentor, and develop staff; support employee development and productivity.
• Analyze data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions to drive efficiency and revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and capital investments; oversee P&L responsibilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners.
• Represent client at industry events and client meetings.
• Report directly to ownership with regular updates on operational performance and strategic initiatives.

About You :

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated expertise in both manual and CNC machining processes.

Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, customers, suppliers, and management.

Experience in quality assurance systems and advanced measurement technologies.

Proactive, highly organized, and meticulous attention to detail.

Computer literate; able to read blueprints and use relevant business and manufacturing software.

Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.

HR experience, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, is a plus.
