Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Social Worker

Job description IHCS is a Community Behavioral Health Clinic and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor / Social Worker or Registered Mental Health / Social Worker Intern with at least three years of experience in mental health and substance abuse evaluations. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication and writing skills, along with a commitment to supporting individuals with trauma. Applicants with a background working with veterans will be given serious consideration.

• Responsibilities :
• Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance abuse evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients needs
• Utilize trauma-informed care approaches in supporting clients through treatment and recovery
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress
• Stay up-to-date with best practices through professional development
• Qualifications :
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Registered Mental Health / Social Worker Intern
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with mental health and substance abuse evaluations
• Experience working with individuals affected by trauma; experience with veterans preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
