Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Director Communications who will report to the Head of Communications, Aeronautics Systems. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA or Palmdale, CA. The director will lead strategy, development, messaging and execution for the aeronautics business to advance our brand and reputation as an aeronautics leader. They will need to excel at collaboration both within our company but also with our many customer communities. On the business side, you will partner with communications and functional leaders to lead the development of high-impact strategies, as well as priorities including growth priority programs and new business captures. In terms of positioning, you will lead strategy and execution for shaping executive thought leadership both internally and externally. You will also lead a small team of program communications professionals responsible for the day-to-day operations of these activities and manage their associated budgets. Expertise in communications strategy, editorial planning and management of content channels (preferably branded editorial), and communications measurement is required.

Primary Level Salary Range : $179,600.00 - $269,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
