Licensed Master Social Worker

Overview : We are excited to invite a compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker to join our dedicated team, specializing in hospice care.

The Social Worker (MSW) plays a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, providing essential psychosocial support to patients and their families. This includes conducting thorough assessments to identify needs, goals, and appropriate interventions in alignment with the care plan, while utilizing professional expertise and judgment throughout the psychosocial assessment process.

About You :

• Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited institution.
• Current licensure as required by your state.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Social Worker in a healthcare or hospice setting; three to five years of experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by terminally ill patients and their families, including the psychosocial dynamics of illness, loss, and end-of-life issues. The ability to apply this knowledge and demonstrate sensitivity while supporting others in times of crisis is essential. Strong coping skills for managing the stress of repeated loss are necessary.
