Interim Clinical Manager- 1800 Acute Care

At NorthBay Healthcare the Clinical Manager is a Registered Nurse who has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the clinical and operational management of the Acute Care unit at NorthBay Medical Center. The Clinical Manager's role is to promote the provision of effective, high quality patient care to all patients. The following responsibilities are included : oversight of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, management of human, fiscal and other resources, development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, and fostering of interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships within the assigned units and between other departments within the organization.

The Clinical Manager works collaboratively with the Clinical Practice Manager, Organizational Development, Department Director, and other Clinical Managers to develop and validate the clinical competency of staff. The Clinical Manager collaborates with physicians in order to establish a collegial and interdisciplinary patient care environment.

Education :

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's Degree preferred.
• One of the degrees must be in nursing.

Compensation for interim assignments are in addition to the candidates current positions is up to 5% above current rate of pay.
