Vector Engineers / CTL Engineering is hiring a Technician | Inspector for Construction Services. Vector Engineers, Inc. was founded in 2000 and specializes in civil engineering, land surveying, subsurface site characterizations, drilling soil test borings, forensic engineering, rock coring, and installation of inclinometers. Vector Engineers is a subsidiary of CTL Engineering, an award-winning full service consulting engineering firm with locations across OH, IN, WV, KY, NC, SC, and VA.

We are looking for a Technician | Inspector who will play a key role in performing construction engineering technician services related to earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and utility construction for DOT, municipalities, and private sector clients.

Highlights

• The role is based out of our Shelbyville office - east of Louisville
• Typical travel radius : 90 miles from the Shelbyville office
• Limited overnight travel - usually 10% of the time
• Primarily a day shift with less than 5% night work
• Work schedule : typically Monday through Friday, but occasional weekend opportunities (@ 1 Saturday / month during peak construction season)
• Fleet vehicle provided for traveling between office to project(s)

Primary work location is in the field and will require candidate to stand for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
