FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a construction project in Chantilly, VA. This position is anticpated to start immediately and will last approximately 6 months on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule for 40 hours / week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.

• EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification preferred.
• Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
• Candidates must have a First-Aid / CPR / AED certificate.
• Candidates should have 5+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
• Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
• Experience with electrical safety, cranes, rigging, confined space, and forklift safety is required.
