Position Description :

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing on-site facility maintenance services and coordinating ongoing property care with approved vendors for 8899 Beverly, a 54-unit, 10-floor luxury high-rise condominium community in West Hollywood. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for providing exceptional customer service, and a positive, team-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Inspects buildings and related structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions or needed repairs, making notes and recommendations using a pre-established check sheet.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance, including replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g., wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballasts, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate tools.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g., repairing leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging drains, replacing drain hoses on washers, trenching and laying new lines, etc.).
• Performs minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g., preparing surfaces and applying paint, stains, and varnishes; hanging doors; fitting locks and handles, etc.).
• Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies to accomplish daily tasks.
• Works directly with management, on-site staff, vendors, and the Board of Directors, providing the support and guidance necessary for operational needs.
• Provides timely and professional service to all residents, addressing maintenance requests promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
