Travel Nursing Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2020 - $2170

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : December 15, 2025 – End : March 16, 2026)

Shift : 10-hour days, 6 : 30am – 5 : 00pm, 4 shifts per week (40 hours / week)

Call : Required after shift until 6 : 30am the following day; 45-minute response time; holiday and weekend call assigned to traveler

Setting : 13 state-of-the-art OR suites (including a new Hybrid OR), averaging 30 surgical cases per day

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week (not guaranteed during orientation)

Dress Code : Hospital-provided scrubs; dedicated OR shoes or provided shoe covers

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 5 years recent Operating Room RN experience

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Active Indiana RN license (required for Indiana nursing jobs)

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Experience with orthopedic fractures, joint replacements, general, urologic, and gynecologic procedures (including Da Vinci Xi robot)

Cesarean section (C-section) experience required

Proficiency with EPIC EMR and OMNICELL medication systems

Skilled in conscious sedation administration and monitoring, assisting with intubation, malignant hyperthermia management, and comprehensive nursing assessments

OR RN Responsibilities

Circulate and / or scrub for a wide range of surgical procedures : orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, pediatric dental, urology, ophthalmology, peripheral vascular (open and endovascular), C-sections, and spine surgeries

Utilize advanced surgical technology such as Da Vinci Xi robot, O-arm, and Stealth navigation systems

Administer and monitor conscious sedation for surgical patients

Assist with intubation and respond to malignant hyperthermia events

Perform thorough nursing physical assessments and document care in EPIC EMR

Manage medications using OMNICELL systems

Participate in on-call rotation, including holidays and weekends, as assigned

Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
