Supply And Inventory Administrator
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply and Inventory Administrator to support the daily operations of our warehouse. This role will assist in tracking inventory levels, coordinating purchases, maintaining document systems, and facilitating the timely delivery of supplies. The ideal candidate will help maintain smooth warehouse operations and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable service. This position operates under the direction of warehouse leadership and works alongside other staff members to achieve shared goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Inventory Management : Support daily inventory operations by running reports, tracking deliveries, to ensure accurate billing and payment with vendors.
 - Order Coordination : Assist in generating material requests and following up on the status of orders.
 - Uniform Orders : Process and coordinate the delivery of uniform orders for public safety staff, ensuring all items arrive as scheduled. Work with multiple vendors to verify that uniform orders follow applicable county contracts and union requirements.
 - Asset Records : Use company systems, such as Operative IQ, to help maintain accurate records and databases for departmental supplies and equipment. Facilitate collaboration with department heads to support precise reporting and the proper disposal of items in the County's Fixed Asset listing.
 - Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance : Support scheduling and documentation for maintenance and repairs of departmental vehicles and equipment, following established procedures.
 - Vendor Relations : Submit orders for parts and supplies, obtain quotes to help maintain positive vendor relationships and timely payments. Warehouse Operations : Work with staff to follow warehouse policies and procedures, collaborate to complete tasks promptly, and provide customer service as needed.
 - Purchasing & Requisitions : Help create and maintain blanket purchase orders and expedite outstanding orders under the direction of warehouse leadership.
 - Administrative Support : Assist with conveying County policies, maintaining employee and asset files, and supporting recordkeeping systems in both paper and electronic formats.
 - Other Duties : Carry out related support tasks as requested
 
Education, Experience, Licensing
Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses / training equivalent to completion of one year of college in business or closely related field and two years of warehouse or inventory management or closely related experience.Licensing : Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Certifications : Forklift certification is required (or must be obtained upon hire).Supplemental Information
Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM.
