Job descriptionEmergency / Temp Privileges Granted Skills required : Comfortable with an EMR, Providing OMFS care for children + adults. Full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Must practice full scope OMFS, Capable of performing IV sedations in the office setting Must have a PA Dental License AND PA Anesthesia License Must have a valid DEA Must be up to date with BLS, PALS and ACLS Skills preferred : Interested in teaching Breakdown of practice days : M-F, Day Shift; some variation of 7 / 8AM - 4 / 5 : 30PM No Call Patient volumes : approximately 18-22 patients per day, four to five days per week. All patients are ambulatory Additional Staff : Physicians : if meets criteria to be an educator may gather resident support in exchange for teaching, MAs EMR System : EPIC Credentialing Timeline : 60-90 Days References needed for a complete file : 3 references, 1 must be from most recent placement, all OMFS Additional info : Routine ambulatory OMFS includes, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, biopsies, third molar surgery, expose and bond impacted teeth.
