We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Midland, Texas, on a contract basis with the potential for a long-term role. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the company's accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and improving processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while overseeing critical financial functions.

Responsibilities :

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
• Oversee the monthly financial close process and prepare detailed financial statements.
• Optimize and reconcile general ledger and subledger accounts within SAP Business One.
• Supervise job cost accounting, billing, and revenue recognition for service-related projects.
• Develop and implement strong internal controls to enhance accounting practices.
• Collaborate on audits and regulatory reporting while supporting the transition to new leadership.
• Drive improvements in accounting systems and workflows to increase efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including leadership roles such as Controller.
• Proficiency in SAP Business One is required.
• Experience in the oil & gas, energy services, or oilfield services industries.
• Strong background in job cost accounting and system optimization.
• Familiarity with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations and manage general ledger activities.
