Overview
The Manager Technology (IT) requires an in-depth understanding of technology concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of other related disciplines. The Manager Technology (IT) must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the technology discipline as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. The Manager Technology (IT) impacts the level of service and the technology team's ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Decisions made by the Manager of Technology (IT) should be guided by policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Prefer relevant strategic business process certifications (APICS, Finance, ITIL, CISSP, CCNA, PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma)
- Experience leading a global team
- 8+ years of work experience; Work experience can be waived with higher than minimum Degree requirement
- Experienced in managing a technical team
- Experienced in implementing infrastructure cloud solutions on Azure, O365, and AWS
- Experienced in the design and tactical implementations
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Extensive experience in Cisco Unified Communications solutions for both Voice and Video
- Knowledge of Global Telecom laws and regulations
- Technical experience as a Cisco Call Manager
- Experienced in telecommunication circuit technologies
