Pay Information

$1,800 per day

About The Position

Seeking a Locum General Surgeon to provide 24-hour EMTALA call coverage at a regional hospital serving a multi-state area. The physician will handle all emergency department and inpatient general surgery consults, perform a range of surgical procedures, and collaborate with a skilled OR and ICU team. This is an ongoing need with consistent monthly coverage opportunities beginning January 2026 .

24 Hour On Call :    $1,800.00

Call Back : $400 / hr

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABoS) – Required
  • Active Kentucky Medical License – Required
  • COVID-19 Vaccination – Highly Preferred (must have by credentialing)
  • Clean Background – Highly Preferred
