Operations Security Manager

Jacobs Global Security & Resilience (GS&R) provides physical, technical, travel and programmatic security, and resilience capabilities to support Jacobs business. We are looking for an Operations Security Manager to deliver the Area of Responsibility (AOR) Security Program in line with Jacobs Business Management System (BMS) and provide risk-based, intelligence driven operational and tactical support (developing and sustaining an intelligence network). This role is geographically flexible in the US. Candidates must be able to obtain US national government security clearance.
As an Operations Security Manager, you will :
- Adhere to security policies, in line with national / international standards and corporate guidelines.
- Supporting role in Jacobs Enterprise Security Management System. Provide high-end consultation on physical security technology and associated peripheral systems, such as mass communications and visitor management systems.
- Support and facilitate planning and delivery activities to ensure site security, design and operations for the protection of employees, physical assets and information in coordination with Operations, IT and Real Estate.
- Aid GS&R and Operational leadership with electronic security and life safety systems.
- Conduct site security assessments and developing appropriate mitigation measures.
- Provide support for unclassified, proprietary, and government required security systems as appropriate.
- Monitor and track risk trends, providing guidance and support to operations and travelers.
- Review, monitor and deconflict processes and protocols relating to the delivery of GS&R support Jacobs, ensur compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, regulatory and legal requirements across AOR.
- Manage AOR security incidents, engaging and supporting operational leadership, during routine, emergency and crisis situations, ensuring effective business continuity.
- Compile and submit reports and management information as required.
- Engage with, understanding and supporting business operations and provide key security advice and inputs, as part of the GS&R team to help secure profitable growth.
- Assist the GSR leadership when advising the business within their AOR on specific matters related to the delivery of security support.
- Ensure security operational parameters for delivering security services to the AOR.
- Evaluating and managing a variety of security deliverables and pro-active programs designed to anticipate and minimize Jacobs exposure to potential security threats and determine appropriate responses.
- Assist with oversights and guidance on investigations to resolve allegations of regulatory non-compliance, criminal activity, serious violations of corporate policy and serious acts of impropriety.
- Conduct operational reviews and supporting audits of BMS delivery and compliance, incident rates and crime trends, to evaluate the efficacy of existing programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships within AOR government and non-government agencies, industry partners, supply chain members and service providers.
- Engage in comprehensive analysis of security events and determining any impacts, potential or otherwise to Jacobs operations, as well as mitigation planning.
- Contribute to the development for the delivery of electronic security and life safety systems for practical application to support Emergency, Crisis Management and Business Continuity.
- Maintain functional knowledge of deployed electronic security and life safety system technologies, as well as delivery solutions design to include available Jacobs network related hardware, software and data plans.
- Support annual reviews, develop and enhance GS&R security programs.
- Deputize for Region Security leads during periods of absence.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
