PICU RN Travel Job Details Location : Fayetteville, NC 28304 (North Carolina healthcare jobs) Facility Type : Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : November 17, 2025 Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 – 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Patient Ratios : 1 : 2-3 Charting System : Epic Scrub Color : Royal blue and white Guaranteed Hours : All contracted hours guaranteed after 2 shift call-offs per 13-week assignment Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,830 - $1,880 per week PICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of North Carolina or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent PICU nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Must pass EKG exam (no exceptions) Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system Willingness to float within scope to meet hospital staffing needs Not accepting local candidates within 50 miles of Fayetteville, NC Must provide interview availability upon submission PICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed Educate and support patients' families throughout the care process Maintain accurate records using Epic EHR system Float to similar pediatric or critical care units as required Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
