3-4-day work week
Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, Sat-Sun 8am-4pm

Position : X-Ray Technologist

Reports to : Practice Operations Manager

Summary : We are actively seeking full time X-Ray Technologists to serve a brand-new Urgent Care center in Warren, NJ. This position is responsible for effectively and efficiently capturing diagnostic images of patients with a variety of acute injuries and illnesses. Will be responsible for triaging patients and providing additional support to the practice as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare patients for x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety

Offer compassionate support to patients and their caregivers during the time of their urgent medical need / crisis

Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care essential to the radiology procedures

Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers, including orthopedic images

Maintain accurate and up-to-date QC book

Assist other staff members (Medical Assistants, Front Desk Associates, Providers) as needed

All other duties as assigned by Practice Manager or Practice Administrator

Requirements

Additional Requirements :

Diagnostic Radiography license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow

Knowledge of medical terminology

Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette

Available to work evenings and weekends, in a mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts

Ability to maintain professionalism and provide quality care in a fast-paced, public environment

Salary Description

$37 - $40
