Job description

About the Role :

  • We are seeking compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapists (OTRs) to join our growing team.
  • This opportunity is perfect for licensed OTs who are passionate about helping individuals achieve greater independence in their daily lives.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate patients to determine functional abilities and areas for improvement in daily living, work, and leisure activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques and adaptive equipment to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other professionals—to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive strategies, and home programs.
  • Maintain detailed, timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and mentorship to stay current on best practices in occupational therapy.

    • Qualifications :

  • Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in the state of South Dakota.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
