We're hiring an exceptional scientist to join our Regenerative Vascular Medicine (RVM) Team. You'll need a solid background in researching and developing interventions to prevent and reverse atherosclerosis, vascular inflammation and vascular calcification. You will also get to tackle other aspects of age-related cardiovascular decline including attempting to rejuvenate aged vascular endothelium and heart tissue.
With us, you'll get to :
- Contribute highly practical CVD prevention and atherosclerosis treatment ideas (i.e. for plaque regression) to our pipeline
- Test novel and existing CVD therapeutics in in vitro models, including iPSC-derived cells and models, in the context of personalized regenerative medicine
- Devise novel ways to rejuvenate aged endothelial vasculature, including preventing and eliminating peripheral vascular calcifications
- Collaborate with the ICR Biomarkers Team to integrate multiple atherosclerosis, CVD and vascular aging biomarker streams into risk assessment and risk mitigation models
Please apply if you have :
A PhD, MD or bothAt least 2 years of post-graduate vascular regenerative medicine, cardiovascular disease / atherosclerosis research experienceExpertise in atherosclerosis, peripheral artery disease (PAD), vascular calcification, cardiovascular disease, stroke, general vascular disease biology and lipidologyThorough familiarity with currently available CVD preventatives and therapeutics including small molecules, large molecules, cell-derived products (e.g. exosomes) and cell-based therapiesExperience in primary and iPSC- / stem cell-derived models of vascular health / disease / rejuvenation / regenerationAnd you'll need :
