About the Role

The Company is seeking a President of Development to spearhead the launch and leadership of its industrial vertical. This senior executive will be tasked with the full industrial development lifecycle, from strategic planning to project delivery. The role involves leading development efforts across a significant industrial-zoned site, identifying and executing business plans, and guiding predevelopment activities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for capital and partnering, including leading discussions with institutional partners, structuring joint ventures, and presenting opportunities to the family board. Additionally, the President will be the face of the industrial platform, cultivating market relationships, and will play a key role in team building and fostering a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture.

Applicants for the President of Development position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in industrial real estate development, with a proven track record in leading complex projects. Familiarity with Texas industrial markets or similar growth areas is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on, entrepreneurial leadership style, be a strategic thinker, and be comfortable with the accountability of being the go-to decision-maker. Strong communication skills, both in the boardroom and at the street level, are essential. The role requires a leader who is intellectually curious, humble, and decisive, and who can champion a culture of ownership, integrity, and entrepreneurial execution.
