• Duties / Procedures :
• Assist with pre & post operative patient evaluation and treatment.
• OR First assist.
• Coronary artery bypass and all valve surgeries.
• Aortic reconstruction and aortic arch reconstruction.
• Robotic assisted thoracic surgeries.
• Endoscopic vein harvest.
• Open radial artery harvest.
• Minimally invasive valves.
• VATS & DaVinci Robot Thoracic procedures
• Thoracic and fore-gut procedures.
• ICU & Step-down mgmt.
• Emergent procedures on the floor (Chest tube insertions, arterial line insertions etc)
• Discharge summaries.
• Walk-in / urgent clinic visits when primary surgeon is not available.
• Clinic wound checks as needed.
• EMR : Epic
