Position Overview

The SMT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the surface mount technology (SMT) production process, ensuring the efficient operation of the production line and high-quality output of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role involves managing a team of operators, optimizing production workflows, and maintaining equipment to meet manufacturing targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the SMT production team to achieve daily production targets.
  • Monitor the SMT process and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement improvements to enhance product quality.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Provide training and support to team members on best practices in SMT and PCB manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and management teams to optimize production processes and equipment utilization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SMT, PCB manufacturing, and production line management.
  • Strong understanding of surface mount technology and printed circuit board assembly.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements.
  • Familiarity with electronics and manufacturing equipment related to SMT and PCBA.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, but not required.
