About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Night Shift

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II ED experience and / or 2+ years of recent Level III or IV ED experience.

License : Active RN License

Certifications : TNCC, BLS, ACLS (must be active / unexpired)

Must-Have :

• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks.
• Must pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 (85% or higher).

Description :

NOC - 12-hour shift rotation, 7 PM - 7 : 30 AM, 11 PM - 11 : 30 AM, and 3 AM - 3 : 30 PM.

Every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Must be flexible to float to areas including Psych ED and Pediatric ED (caring for patients age 15+ in pediatrics unless previous pediatric experience is noted).

Patient ratio : 1 : 4-5 patients depending on acuity.

The department is a very busy emergency department with up to 120 treatment areas serving 350-440 patients per day.

Travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms during the assignment.
