Geneva is a platform for online communities and social clubs focused around getting together IRL. Geneva provides a rich set of communication and engagement tools that allows users to discover communities and find friends. Find communities online and get together offline with your people.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Android Engineer who can help us continue to evolve our Android platform. This is a high-impact role where your contributions will shape the user experience for a wide range of communities. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from brainstorming with cross-functional teams to delivering well-crafted, tested features that will reach a large audience.

As a member of our Android team, you will learn and adapt quickly, balancing speed and agility to deliver meaningful features for our users. The app uses Kotlin, Android Jetpack, unidirectional data flows, dependency injection, reactive programming, unit tests, end to end tests, and the robot pattern. You don't have to know all of these patterns and libraries, but you'll be using them daily. Technical skills aren't everything at Geneva; we value kind people who can work well on a team.

Youll thrive in this role if you enjoy autonomy, taking ownership, and being hands-on in the code while also collaborating with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver features that make a real difference. With no dedicated QA team, the emphasis is on writing well-tested and reliable code, with the flexibility to experiment and influence the product direction.
