Job description

Role :

The Sr. Manager, Web Technologies will lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of web and digital experience ecosystem, including CMS, documentation portal, community platform, training portal, and partner portal. This role is accountable for the roadmap, team management, vendor relationships, and ensuring that all platforms deliver maximum business value. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of web technologies, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute a web technology strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a global IT team of developers, designers, and architects.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to keep platforms innovative.

Project Management

  • Oversee end-to-end implementation of corporate web pages and portals.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, and reporting; ensure transparent stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with business and design teams for backend integration and CMS alignment.
  • Track and optimize KPIs for performance, engagement, and ROI.

    • Technical Expertise

  • Provide technical direction in front-end, back-end, architecture, and cloud services.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance of web applications.
  • Promote best practices in coding, development, and deployment.

    • Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as liaison among business, IT, and SI partners.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate clearly across teams.

    • Security & Performance

  • Partner with IT / SI teams on security, performance, infrastructure, and integrations.
  • Maintain compliance with cybersecurity and risk management standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in application development, with at least 6 years focused on architecting and delivering enterprise-scale web technology solutions.
  • Proven hands-on expertise with Acquia Drupal, Docebo, Khoros, SaaS platform integrations, and modern headless / hybrid CMS architectures
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise search frameworks, taxonomy and metadata design, and structured / unstructured content delivery strategies.
  • Extensive experience with DITA-based publishing workflows, ideally using Ixiasoft and Fluid Topics, and integrating structured content into enterprise platforms.
  • Solid understanding of UX / UI principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices to deliver engaging and user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Strong technical skills in HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript frameworks, REST / GraphQL APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
  • In-depth understanding of security best practices, including authentication / authorization models, secure content entitlement, and global data privacy compliance.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, optimize site performance, and ensure high availability at scale.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams, influence stakeholders, and present architectural strategies with clarity.
  • Successful track record of working in Agile / Scrum environments with cross-functional, multi-vendor, and geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry and M&A / post-merger integration is a plus.
