Construction Safety Manager (Waco)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across our construction projects in Texas.

Duties

• Lead and oversee a project, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their daily activities.
• Attend initial meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives to define their roles within the project regarding safety.
• Conduct and document pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractor safety representatives and foremen.
• Establish and conduct regular safety meetings with subcontractor representatives to promote ongoing safety awareness and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations applicable to the construction industry.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive safety programs across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough investigations and analysis of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and contributing factors.
• Generate detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project staff and subcontractors to conduct formal weekly jobsite inspections, documenting safety violations, and implementing corrective measures.
