We are excited to announce that Med Center Health is transitioning to Epic, the leading electronic health record (EHR) system. This partnership will transform how we deliver and coordinate care across our organization.

We are building an innovative, collaborative team who will help shape the future of care at Med Center Health. The Epic Programmer role will support both the initial implementation and the continued maintenance and optimization of Epic following go-live.

Multiple job opportunities are available and a $10,000 hiring incentive is available for team members who are already Epic certified.

Position Summary

The Epic Programmer designs, develops, and maintains customization of applications and system integrations to enhance Med Center Health’s Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. Working closely with analysts and stakeholders, this role translates requirements into efficient, secure, and reliable solutions that improve workflows, support clinical and operational goals, and ensure seamless data exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with project managers, analysts, and end-users to gather and validate software requirements.
• Designs, codes, and tests software applications and system integrations in accordance with organizational standards and best practices.
• Participates in code reviews, system testing, deployment planning, and documentation efforts.
• Provides ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitors application performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance functionality, efficiency, and security.
• Documents code changes, system configurations, and technical procedures in a clear and organized manner.
