The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for Designing and developing mechanical systems for instruments used in medical research. This role drives product development from concept through production and supports existing products to meet safety reliability and customer expectations..

This position reports to the Development Engineering Manager and is part of the Centrifuge team located in Indianapolis IN and will be an on-site role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to :

• Lead product development of modules and collaborate across engineering disciplines.
• Design and analyze mechanical systems to meet product specifications.
• Develop and execute component and system tests for performance validation.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to quality system requirements.
• Maintain and improve existing products for safety and reliability.
