Full-Stack Engineer

Opal is a vertical fintech startup for ad‑agencies. Our mission is to build a wildly profitable business, and our strategy is to win by effectively solving our customers’ problems.

We’re hiring back‑end engineers to support the development and deployment of our product. This is a hybrid role that involves a combination of front‑end, back‑end and design thinking. Our approach is to use modern languages and infrastructure to build our product simply. We currently use Python, Django, React, Next.js, and SQL.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and develop new features that extend the capabilities of our current platform
• API implementation for a distributed cloud platform
• Build out our next generation deployment pipeline and infrastructure
• Integrate third‑party APIs into our product, such as Stripe, CapitalOS
• Work with our experienced Front End team to build functional products
• Communicate your ideas through design documents and documentation for other engineers
