About The Position

Weekly Pay # - Physical Therapist (PT) at Oregon Care Center, MO

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents physical abilities, including mobility, balance, strength, and gait.
• Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans to improve physical function, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
• Deliver direct therapy interventions such as therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance retraining, and use of physical modalities.
• Monitor and document residents progress, adjusting care plans as needed to achieve therapy goals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and support discharge planning.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and therapy aides per licensure requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and billing.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility standards and regulations.
• Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the rehab team.
• Work in a skilled nursing facility / long-term care setting, often requiring standing, bending, lifting, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced, team-oriented rehabilitation environment.
