As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for producing and seeing through to completion high-quality work on engagements, demonstrating effective communications, as well as developing & demonstrating increasing knowledge and experience. This position provides significant opportunity for growth – both technical growth as well as long term growth within the organization. What you'll do at SN :
Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnership
Preparation of income tax returns for C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals
Prepare and work with multi-state income tax returns
Tax research
Train, develop, educate and manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice
Build and manage client relationships
Seek out support and guidance from teammates, be approachable to any questions / inquiries, and ultimately help the team be successful
What you may have done before :
Led tax projects with both seniors and associates at a public accounting firm
Worked with s-corps and pass through entities clients
What it takes to be a Tax Senior Associate :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
CPA / EA License or JD preferred
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in public accounting
Strong technical knowledge of taxation, including Partnerships, C Corporations, and S Corporations
Excellent advisory and compliance skills
Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
The hiring process :
Stage 1 (Preliminary Screening Call) with a member of our recruitment team
Stage 2 (Tax Managing Directors Interview) an interview with a leader of the National Tax Team
Stage 3 (Behavioral Interview & Cultural Interviews) three total interviews, one with a member of our HR team and two with two members of the tax practice
Stage 4 (Offer)
What's in it for you :
Salary : The salary range for this position is an estimate of $80,000 - $100,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual's skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
