Job Description

Job Title : Gastroenterologist

Experience : Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of Residency

License : Active Iowa License or IMLC

Certifications : ACLS, ERCP required, EUS highly preferred

Must-Have : COVID Vaccine

Clean Malpractice / Background preferred

Description :

We are seeking an inpatient locum to perm Gastroenterologist provider.

The schedule includes 24-hour call from 7 AM to 7 AM.

This position involves hospital-based coverage.

The provider is expected to perform 3-4 outpatient procedures per day, as well as inpatient procedures and consults.

The role is primarily focused on adult patients.

Experience with ERCP is required, while experience with EUS is highly preferred.

An EMR system, specifically Cerner, will be utilized.

The provider must be willing and able to work inpatient.

Candidates must have a clean malpractice history with documentation for any settled or pending cases that may need to be provided.
