Sign-On Bonus : $15,000

This sign-on bonus is available exclusively for new full-time Paramedic hires, not applicable to current employees of American Medical Response. Details regarding the bonus agreement can be obtained from Human Resources. A commitment agreement of two years with the company may be required, and eligibility for those rehired will depend on the duration of the break in service.

POSITION SUMMARY :

The primary mission of this role is to deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency medical services and advanced patient care in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate each call to determine the best course of action and follow appropriate protocols.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, intravenous fluids, CPR, and other necessary treatments.
• Employ triage skills to maximize efficiency during emergency responses.
• Provide patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
• Assist in lifting and moving patients as required for optimal care.
• Communicate effectively with receiving facilities to relay critical information and receive medical guidance.
• Perform additional duties as outlined in the complete job description.

Salary Range : $28.40 - $39.71 per hour, depending on experience (this rate applies to a 12-hour shift, averaging 42 hours per week).
