Regulatory Compliance Specialist
ProSidian is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist for Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis. This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) position, however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will provide services and support for the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP) in Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region. This role focuses on business process solutions for clients in the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector.
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and legal requirements, providing guidance on federal and state energy regulations, assessing impacts of policy changes, and ensuring compliance with standards. The role involves conducting public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting, and report development.
Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Key skills include analytical thinking, proficiency in data analysis tools, strong communication abilities, and subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains.
Competencies required include problem-solving ability, adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of energy sector operations.
