Responsibilities
- Plan and execute modeling and simulation systems development projects.
- Apply simulation methods for analysis of complex human-machine systems and training.
- Design and develop simulation systems and modeling of simulation objects.
- Perform analysis applying appropriate scientific and engineering processes and modeling techniques throughout the lifecycle of systems development.
- Conduct trade-off studies related to operational issues and review test plans to ensure MOEs address operational requirements using simulation tools and techniques.
- Review plans for system integration, operation, and maintenance.
- Assist in the development of training for operational personnel.
Required Qualifications
Active TS / SCI with a Polygraph at time of application.Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience; or Master's degree and 4+ years; or PhD and 0 years.Experience using modeling and simulation (M&S) tools via academia, industry, government, or military service.Programming experience with advanced engineering software for mod / sim / analysis, preferably on space and space control systems.Scripting / programming experience in C++, Python, MATLAB, STK.Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree in related technical field.Experience working in teams to accomplish systems engineering results.Developing mathematical models to solve targeted problems.Software development / programming experience in JavaScript, HTML / CSS, Microsoft Office 365, C++ / C#, Visual Studio.NET, MATLAB, Python, R, or SQL; familiarity with code-management tools (Git, Bitbucket) and agile practices (Jira, Confluence) including DevSecOps.Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering (DE) methods.Knowledge of databases, data structures, and data architectures.Ability to apply scientific methodology to complex scenarios.Demonstrated experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis of complex system-of-systems designs; preferably of IC space systems.Subject-matter expertise with DoD and IC space programs, systems, and missions.Location
