Job descriptionMinimum 2 year delivery experience Class A Commercial driver's license Must be able to operate a 10 speed splitter Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently Strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Basic math skills $1300 / week, paid weekly 5 day work week (Monday - Friday) Company paid Life / AD&D, short term disability 401(k) match Off weekends and major holidays Electric pallet jacks on all delivery routes Lift gates on all trailers
This position is responsible for delivering bakery products to our customers in an efficient and safe manner by following all company procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload product with hand dolly and electric pallet jack
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to transportation manager
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding documentation and collecting for COD accounts
- Must adhere to all FMCSA guidelines
