Job Summary:

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is assisting with the search for an employed neurosurgeon for its neurosurgical program Overland Park, Kansas.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be comfortable with both spine and cranial- estimated 70/30 split
• Flexibility to pursue additional subspecialty areas of interest within the context of a general neurosurgery practice
• Willing to perform complex cases with anticipated first year volume of 150+ cases
• Excellent advanced practice provider support with dedicated outpatient and inpatient APPs rounding and assisting in surgery
• Call is shared equitably 1:3 with APPs taking daytime first call
• Utilize the advanced capabilities of the hospital, including state-of-the-art diagnostics and intraoperative tools, such as robotic navigation
• Collaborate to support patient care needs of the hospital's moderate volume ASC Level 2 Trauma Center and large primary care base.
• Candidates with training or experience in any of the following subspecialties are encouraged to apply, including cerebrovascular, functional/epilepsy, neuro-endoscopy, spine, trauma, pediatrics, or neurosurgical oncology
