Pediatric Dermatologist
Cleveland Clinic Children’s and the Children’s Institute of Cleveland Clinic are seeking subspecialty‑trained Pediatric Dermatologists to join our growing academic Pediatric Dermatology section; BC / BE candidates preferred. The candidate can expect strong institutional support for programmatic and professional development. Clinics will be located at Cleveland Clinic Children’s outpatient center at main campus and at ambulatory clinic sites throughout the greater Northeast Ohio region. This position includes a primary appointment to the Children’s Institute and a secondary appointment to the Department of Dermatology. An academic appointment in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) will be supported at a rank commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
Responsibilities
Physicians in Pediatric Dermatology provide specialized evaluation, diagnostics, and treatment for children from neonatal to young‑adult ages, with medical and surgical dermatological needs. Medical and surgical pediatric dermatological care, including laser therapy, is supported by pediatric nursing, anesthesia, and child‑life specialists. Opportunities exist to be involved in interdisciplinary clinics drawing on the strength of our pediatric specialists within Cleveland Clinic Children’s and the broader Cleveland Clinic. Pediatric Dermatology providers are involved in pediatric residency and fellowship education, interact with fellowship trainees from many other pediatric subspecialty programs at CC Children’s, and have the opportunity to engage in teaching medical students from one of the two CWRU‑affiliated medical schools. Opportunities for scholarly program development, quality improvement, and research program advancement are also available.
Qualifications
Subspecialty‑trained Pediatric Dermatologist.
BC / BE preferred. Primary appointment to the Children’s Institute; secondary appointment to the Department of Dermatology.
Academic appointment in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of CWRU at a rank commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
