Accounting Clerk

You are a motivated professional who is passionate about working collaboratively to get the job done. You excel at organization and time management and have experience in Accounting or similar fields. Your experience from an analytical perspective includes proficiency with MS Office, Excel and data reporting tools. You are a driven, self-motivated individual and thrive in a fast-paced remote environment where you can continuously learn and grow within.

What You'll Do

Processing electronic transactions to originate new loans and service existing loans

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Coordinating with various departments along the loan origination pipeline to assist with questions and funding issues

Ability to research and identify discrepancies in loan activity

Corresponding with our funding partners regarding loan originations

Assist in collecting and summarizing data relating to Accounting Department projects and / or Audits

Completing work with highest ethical standards

What You'll Need

Associate's degree in accounting or similar field

1+ years of experience in an office setting

Strong Microsoft Office Skills including Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups)

Experience with accounting software preferred (Workday)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Willingness to work both independently and in a group setting

Strong attention to detail is a must
