Full Time Temporary Roles at Urban Health Plan (Medical Assistant Positions)

At Urban Health Plan we hire full-time temporary associates to work on our team to cover for spans of 3-month (or greater) assignments throughout the year. We are currently seeking applicants that are looking for seasonal / temporary roles in alignment with their availability to fulfill Medical Assistant positions at Urban Health Plan.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High School Diploma required and Medical Assistant Certification
• 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Bilingual English / Spanish required.
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients.
• Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Starting Compensation : $21.00 per hour based on 40 hours per week ($43,680 annualized).

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule :

Applicants must be comfortable working onsite, based out of The Bronx and have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturdays- 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
