Shipping Team Member
Shipping carries out internal and external temperature-controlled shipments of Critical Raw Materials (CRM) and BCRs under cGMP conditions to internal and external customers. This includes thorough understanding of import / export rules and regulations.
Key Activities
Maintains and manages inventory of BCRs and CRMs
Prepares primary packaging
Prepares compliant shipping documentation
Delivers materials to customers on site
Arranges pick-ups by external shipping partners for customers off site
Compiles and archives all relevant documentation (e.g. Temptale data) for future reference
Communicates with internal and external customers, e.g. regarding lead times and pick-up dates
Cooperates with external shipping partners and acts as a representative of the Shipping team
Participates in CTU Maintenance as needed
Cooperates with customs and interacts with logistic experts in order to improve the shipping process
Actively participates in tier 1
Maintains metrics to show shipping on-time in-full delivery (OTIF) and customer service level (CSL)
Handles deviations (observations, incidents, and investigations) in an appropriate and timely manner
Contributes to / leads root cause investigations
Defines and executes appropriate CAPAs
Signals problems / opportunities within the business
Participates in and / or leads projects to continuously improve processes
Uses MPS tools to drive continuous improvement
Submits data changes for pipeline materials in appropriate system(s)
Demonstrates personal commitment with respect to working safely, healthy and environmentally friendly
Authors Management of Change (MOC) for new materials coming to site
Educational Background & Experience
At a minimum, Bachelors Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and cGMP.

Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $77,700.00 - $122,300.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits.
