Psychiatric Hospitalist Needed

We are seeking seeking a full-time (15 shifts monthly) or part-time (8 shifts monthly) Board Eligible / Board Certified psychiatrist for the health system’s 24-hour psychiatric crisis center.  Physician will work nights / weekends in psychiatric emergency center working with diverse patient population.   The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations to patients that present to the service as well as in-person consults to hospitalized patients receiving medical care.  The psychiatrist will work collaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide high quality care to all patients.  Candidate will function as a proactive team player in a fast-paced environment ensuring high quality care to patients seeking treatment for psychiatric emergencies.  This is a wonderful opportunity for a new graduate or an experienced psychiatrist. Ideal candidate will coordinate care with outside providers and hospital disciplines when clinically appropriate.

Requirements :

Psychiatric and Medical license.

C-L fellowship training or experience is a plus but not required.

Current MD license in the State of Pennsylvania required plus current DEA registration.
