Job Description

Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH)  offers the culture, technology, training, and support that is required to deliver excellent care in a state-of-the-art facility. Our various surgical service lines perform more than 43,000 cases annually and include top talent. Our multidisciplinary teams work together to value each individual’s contribution to optimize positive patient outcomes. NMH is a Level I trauma center.

The OR Scrub Technician reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The OR Scrub Technician is a member of the Surgical Team in the Operating Room, under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, who is responsbile for the care and safety of the line of the peri-operative patient. The Operating Room Scrub Technician is repsonsible for the preparing the operating room for each surgical patient.
