Job Description
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is looking for an individual with strong technical skills to work in Structures Design as the Structures Design Engineer (Engineer III) preparing plans, specifications, and engineer's estimates for bridges, box culverts, retaining walls, and other miscellaneous structures associated with UDOT Projects. Design can include the Digital Delivery environment and opportunities to build upon the Departments efforts to implement this technology. This person will fill an important role within the Structures Division and have the opportunity to deliver projects by collaborating with other talented individuals.
Principal Duties
As the Structures Design Engineer (Engineer III), you will :
Minimum Qualification
In order to qualify for this position, you must be registered as a professional engineer (PE) in Utah.
Underfill
This position may be filled as either an Engineer II or Engineer I for those who are not registered professional engineers. This includes those that are licensed in other states pending licensure in Utah.
A bachelor's degree, or higher, in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Preferences
Preference may be given to applicants with significate experience designing transportation structures.
