IT Manager
Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced and driven IT Manager to lead our IT support team and ensure the delivery of high-quality technical services across the organization. In this leadership role, you will manage daily IT operations, support team development, resolve escalated issues, and drive continuous improvement in service performance and user satisfaction.
Pay Rate : $73K to $88K, based on experience
IT Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of IT support technicians to foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and professional development planning.
Service Delivery Management
Oversee helpdesk operations, including ticket triage, prioritization, and resolution timelines.Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded, delivering reliable and efficient support.Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for escalated support requests and major incidents.Communicate effectively with internal teams and non-technical users to ensure clarity and satisfaction.Technical Oversight & Escalation
Provide hands-on support for complex or critical issues across systems and infrastructure.Coordinate with third-party vendors and external support when needed.Process & Systems Optimization
Manage and improve tools such as ticketing systems, remote access platforms, and knowledge bases.Identify and implement process enhancements to boost operational efficiency.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with departments, including operations, sales, and leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals.Ensure seamless integration and support across all business systems.IT Manager Requirements and Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldMicrosoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent certificationRequired Experience & Skills
5+ years in IT infrastructure and systems administrationStrong technical expertise in :Windows Server environmentsMicrosoft 365 administrationMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutionsFirewalls and network securityVoIP systemsProven experience leading and developing IT teamsAbility to translate complex technical issues for non-technical audiencesExcellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and customer service skillsStrong documentation and organizational abilitiesThis is a hands-on, on-site leadership roleactive participation in day-to-day administration is requiredWhat We Offer
