Inventory Control Specialist / Cycle Counter - Fall River

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Inventory Control Specialist is primarily responsible for inventory cycle counting and associated analysis. This person will perform tasks such as physical counts of inventoried materials and participate in projects related to inventory logistics.

Responsibilities :

• Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment
• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer
• Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
• Set up shop floor direct delivery address systems for inventoried materials and assist with material handler training of internal logistics
• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Equipment Operated : Forklift, measurement devices, wrenches, screwdrivers and various other hand tools
