Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of recent CT experience for a 12-hour day shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a dedicated CT Scan unit
  • Performs CAT scans including chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams
  • Responsibilities include general CT, CTA with post processing, and trauma imaging
  • Adult and pediatric patient population
  • Friday to Sunday 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure for patients and staff
  • May assist in orientation and training of new associates and students
  • Responsible for medication handling in some situations, including access to secured drug storage areas
  • Participates in department meetings and planning for process improvement
  • High standards of image quality and efficiency expected
  • Scrub or dress code details not specified

  • Active ARRT certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in CT Scan
  • Associate's degree required
  • Current AHA certifications that do not expire before assignment start
  • Demonstrated ability to operate CT equipment and perform post processing
  • License required if applicable
  • Must supply own radiation badge
