Your Role :

In your role as a Senior Tax Consultant, you will engage clients, assisting them in making informed decisions regarding their finances and tax obligations. Building strong relationships with clients will enhance their experiences and foster trust every year.

Your Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough tax consultations with clients using face-to-face and virtual methods (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with a strong attention to detail.
• Boost business growth, enhance client loyalty, and promote additional products and services.
• Provide support to clients regarding IRS inquiries.
• Offer tax notice assistance services regardless of certification level.
• For certified Circular 230 associates, provide representation during audits.
• Mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment.
• Achieve successful outcomes in the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Bring experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or taxation.
• Show proficiency in completing individual tax returns.
• Adapt seamlessly to a fast-paced work environment.
• Utilize virtual tools with comfort (video, phone, chat).
• Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education is preferred.
